Old hippies never die, they just turn into manure.
April 10, 2004. A "peace" protest, with a guest speaker. Hatem Bazian, a professor and lecturer at U.C. Berkeley, was the speaker. The tree huggers came out in droves, not unlike worker bees for a queen. The good professor, a teacher of Islamic studies, also a former Palestinian inhabitant, egged the crowd on with such dynamic comments as "We've been watching an uprising in Iraq and the question is that what are we doing? How come we don't have an intifada in this country?"
"Because it seems to me, that we are comfortable in where we are, watching CNN, ABC, NBC, Fox, and all these mainstream....giving us a window to the world while the world is being managed from Washington, New York, from every other place in here in San Fransisco: Chevron, Bechtel. Carlyle Group, Halliburton; every on of those lying, cheating, stealing, deceiving individuals are in our country and we're sitting here and watching the world pass by, people being bombed, and it's about time we have an intifada in this country that changes fundamentally the political dynamics here."
"They're gonna say some Palestinian being too radical- well, you haven't seen radicalism yet."
All the stuff in quotes was the good professor. This man has no place in the U.S., let alone an institute of higher learning. THe people of California pay this lunatic's salary and he's still on campus. This man wants people to start the suicide bombings that have become all the rage on upper East side of Palestine. This man should not be spouting this garbage anywhere. Not if tax dollars pay for it. San Fransiscans take it all with a grain of salt apparently. This man is nuts. These are the people you left leaning people defend. No more. This man is a menace and the kids and hippies with the minds full of mud are no better, including some of you, dear readers, and you know who you are. Start your intifada, you anti-freedomites, happy time is over. Get a clue.
