My bully pulpit to rail against anything and everything
The underlying truth behind the rulings

Step back for a moment. Take in all you can of this case. Breathe deeply the thick and heavy smell of fear and death and anticipation and victory. Listen to the marching of the army ants of life and death. Watch the scurrying about of the messengers and the creeping about of the harbingers. What you are witnessing is the culmination of decades upon decades of propaganda, education, brainwashing, ego, secularism, and socialism. This is the end effect brought on by people who believe we are the power in the universe. This is the God Complex exemplified.

Think about it. God doesn't exist. We have the power over who lives and dies. It is our power alone. We have the power to end another's life. At whim, if we so desire. Judge, jury and executioner. We are God. If God exists, he wouldn't have put Terri in this situation to begin with. The secularists are probably wetting their pants over this poor woman. They have done everything in their power to belittle religion, berate regular people, spit in the face of any belief of a higher power. With these rulings they have become God. They hold her life in balance, slowly tipping the scales the other direction to take away the most precious and precarious thread of humanity.

This covers the judicial aspect, the medical aspect, the religious aspect in terms of ending her life. I believe this is a game of one-upmanship with God and his believers. This is just one more foul attempt to grind the shoe heel of human contempt into the cigarette butt of humanity. It is a point shown with much glee to people who cherish life, love family in order to quash hope and belief. It is the Newton's Law of the God haters. This is the Holy Grail, if you will, of the highly educated and sophisticated. How often does one really get the opportunity to legally play God? That's what Terri's current story is about.

This, of course, does not completely take into account Michael's role as a kind, caring, compassionate and obliging spouse. Not only does this man have a God complex, he is also pure evil. His main intention in life right now is to see his wife dead, by all means given to him. That is his focus, and if Vegas is a gambling town he'll succeed. He'll also succeed in making a mockery of our court system, killing his spouse by hearsay. This is bigger than any one of us, and it affects every one of us. There will be no limit to who may die by the blade of compassion if this is allowed to continue. The smallest inconvenience may be judged to be too great to continue life. Think about it. Who would you want to play God when it was your life that was being counted?

It's a pitiful world when lawyers can read souls, as has Michael Schiavo's when he visited Terri. I'm fairly learned, but I'm sure Harvard doesn't teach soul communication. If that were the case, no conviction would ever be overturned, nor would any innocent person be unjustly prosecuted. In a perfect world, Michael would still love his wife and he and her family would care for her until she departed for other adventures. But it's not, and right now it shows like blood on the virgin white snow.

Have you noticed that the media has stopped referring to Terri as a vegetable and now calls her severely brain damaged? They don't even buy this crap. They tell us almost point blank that her death is right, the government is wrong to get involved, this is no big deal, it's humane, yet they inundate us with polls to get opinions. They use the loaded numbers to reinforce their agenda, to make Terri a non-issue, yet they lead off their news with her. They revel in this. In their own little ways, they get to play God. So many people want this woman dead, you would think she was truly a menace to society. Or a Bin Laden.

This woman will die as an attempt to prove God doesn't exist, but she will be killed by a man who hates her.

Excellent, high-minded attempt at rhetoric indeed, although it says much and sees little.

It's not rhetoric, it's an opinion fashioned after observation, and not nearly as myopic or bloviated as some of your fanciful writings.

You should really write professionally, say for the National Enquirer.

Very good.

Sadly we are not seeing and end result, but merely one more step down the feces falls.

Those you fear are not out to prove that God does not exist, for the existence of God is not the highest dilemna for them. What we are seeing with what has been dubbed as, "the culture of death" is the complete and total dehumanization of the human race.

"Creationism" sees Homo Sapiens as the highest form of creation. "Evolution" see Homo Sapiens as the highest form of intelligent life. Both are vomit in the mouths of all the Human apologists. As long as we continue to see ourselves as "above" other life forms, they are not happy.

So, one of two things must happen. Either animals must be elevated, and humans devalued; or the Homo Sapien species must become extict.

Look around you and tell me I'm wrong.

I had never gone that far with the thread, but I find truth in it.  I think I will sleep on it before I give you an insightful or a baitor.  I am leaning to the former.

Fair enough, sleep on it if you choose, and let this thought invade your dreams. There are bloggers here in JU who would (and have) argued for each point. ;~D

And Voodoo, if the wife killer, Michael Schiavo farts in our general direction, everyone who ever sees him, for the rest of his life, should go out of their way to say "Ni" to him, as often as possible!!!! ;~D

That I am well aware of, and I do avoid most of them. but their arguements are not as good as yours.  Fore they are blinded by their ignorance.

He will suceed in killing his wife.  But he will be the new judas and no one will ever want to have anything to do with him.  Even the glad handers feasting on Terri's death will drop him like a rotten piece of garbage once this is over with.  And he has only himself to thank for his new status.

They don't want to be on the wrong end of it, knowing just how important this is to so many people. Misleading people is a problem the press has had a lot of lately. Every time they use the word "coma" or "brain dead", people believe them. Then, when people find out that this isn't the case, they either feel like the press is a bunch of idiots, or are contorting the issue for political effect. Either way, they lose.

"The secularists are probably wetting their pants over this poor woman. They have done everything in their power to belittle religion, berate regular people, spit in the face of any belief of a higher power. With these rulings they have become God."

Maybe in the same deranged way that serial killers and nutty cult leaders think they are God. It never ends up too well with them, either, and we don't have to wait for the hereafter to see it happen. Such attitudes usually punish themselves profusely.

As opposed to blogs that say less and less, and, well, mean less and less. Funny pictures, though... well, not funny "ha ha", but you know what I mean...
